- Project Pitch & Presentation
Projects Students Can Build
The workbook introduces five things students can build without code.
1. A Chatbot
Students build a chatbot that answers questions about a chosen topic such as their school, a subject or a hobby. They can give it a name, personality and purpose.
Implementation Tools:
ChatGPT
Recommended: Botpress for creating a more structured chatbot.
2. A Website
Students describe their idea and use AI to help create webpages, text and images that can be published and shared.
Implementation Tool:
Framer AI
The workbook specifically introduces Framer as a tool for creating and publishing websites without writing code.
3. An App
Students create simple applications using screens, buttons and logic through drag-and-drop development.
Examples given in the workbook include:
- Quiz App
- Homework Tracker
- Water Reminder
Implementation Tools:
MIT App Inventor • Glide • Adalo
4. A Game
Students design a simple game with characters, rules and levels. AI can assist with artwork, dialogue and scoring ideas.
Recommended Implementation Tools:
Scratch – for building the game and programming its logic
ChatGPT – for story, dialogue and game ideas
Canva AI / DALL·E – for creating visual assets
The workbook introduces the game as a possible no-code build but does not prescribe one specific game-development platform.
5. A Personal Assistant
Students design an assistant that can remind, summarise or organise information.
Examples include:
- Study Planner
- Revision Buddy
- Task Assistant
Recommended Implementation Tools:
ChatGPT – for conversational assistance
Notion AI – for organising notes, plans and summaries
The personal-assistant project is included in the workbook, while these implementation tools are practical recommendations for conducting the project.
Python Projects
6. Smart Grade Checker
Students create a beginner Python program that accepts marks as input and uses conditions to decide what response should be displayed.
Students Practise
input()- Variables
ifelse- Comparisons
print()
Implementation Tools:
Python • Replit
Replit is introduced in the workbook as a browser-based tool for writing and running code.
7. Simple Calculator
Students create a Python calculator that accepts two numbers and performs:
Addition • Subtraction • Multiplication • Division
The activity helps students understand input, variables, operators and program output.
Implementation Tools:
Python • Replit
Final Project — Innovation Challenge & Pitch
The final challenge brings together everything students have explored during the workshop.
Student teams identify a real problem in their school, home or community and create an AI-supported solution.
The 4-Step Challenge
1. Find a Problem
Identify a real problem that needs a solution.
2. Design the AI
Decide how AI or technology could help.
3. Build a Demo
Create a simple working demonstration.
4. Pitch It
Present the solution and explain how it works.
Projects are evaluated on:
Idea • Use of AI • Demo • Teamwork
Suggested Implementation Tools
The tool depends on the solution students choose:
Chatbot: ChatGPT / Botpress
Website: Framer AI
App: MIT App Inventor / Glide
Game: Scratch
Python Solution: Replit
Presentation: Canva AI / Gamma
Images: DALL·E / Canva AI
These are practical implementation choices; the workbook itself leaves the final Innovation Challenge tool open.
AI Tools Students Are Introduced To
The workbook also introduces students to a wider range of current AI tools for awareness and exploration:
ChatGPT • DALL·E • Canva AI • Midjourney • Runway • Suno • ElevenLabs • Gamma • Framer • Replit • Notion AI • Grammarly • Perplexity • Claude • Gemini • Copilot • Jasper AI • Synthesia • Pictory • Murf
Students are not expected to use every tool. The workbook presents them as a reference directory from which suitable tools can be explored.

Skills Students Develop
Through the three-day programme, students build:
AI Awareness
Understanding what AI is and how it is used.
Coding Confidence
Writing and modifying beginner Python programs.
Logical Thinking
Understanding inputs, processes, decisions and outputs.
Creative Problem-Solving
Using technology to develop solutions and new ideas.
Prompting Skills
Learning how to communicate effectively with Generative AI.
Project Experience
Turning an idea into a simple working project.
Teamwork
Working together through activities and challenges.
Presentation Skills
Explaining and pitching ideas confidently.
Learn → Create → Code → Build → Present
3 Days. One Practical AI Learning Experience.
Students begin by understanding AI, move on to creating and coding with AI, and finish by building and presenting a project of their own.
The workshop concludes with the Innovation Challenge, Final Pitch, Champions Cup and Certificate of Completion.
